These resources provides information each scouting family should know.
- Patrol Method The troop is youth led and uses the patrol method.
- Uniform Class A - This is worn to all meetings and special events.
- Uniform Class B - This is a BSA t-shirt (One is included in our troop registration fee) and the scout pants. This is worn for troop activities (i.e. service, hikes, etc.).

- Parent Guide - This sample gives you a sense of our troop activities.
- This is a parent-led program. All parent involvement is necessary. If you're interested in helping with clothing swaps, ordering items, helping with the website, let us know!
- Medical Forms These are needed at the beginning of the scouting season.
- Parent engagement is encouraged! We welcome parents to join our events and get to know the scouts and other parents and leaders.
- COVID restart plan - New scouting family have to complete this form
- COVID pre-event screening checklist - Scouts are responsible to bring a signed copy of this form to all events (i.e. in-person scout meetings, community service, hikes, projects, etc.).
Scout Ranks
Scouts are presented with a series of requirements in a fun and educational manner. The aims of the requirements are to help develop character, focus on citizenship, to develop leadership skills and to develop physical and mental fitness. Learn more about rank advancements here.
Board of Review
As scouts complete the requirements for any rank (except Scout rank), they'll appear before a board of review (BOR). The purpose is to determine the quality of the Scout’s experience and decide whether the requirements for the rank was fulfilled. Learn more about the board of review process and what to expect.
Merit Badges
Merit badges provide scouts opportunities to learn skills, introduce them to various hobbies or inspires them to pursue a career in a specific area. There are 135 merit badges for scouts to earn of which 21 are required for the Eagle rank. Learn more about completing merit badges here.
