Regular Meetings

Opening

• Commences at 7 PM, not gather at 7 PM
• Scouts and adult leaders must arrive before in order to be ready to start at 7 PM
• QMs to procure flags
• PL designates color guards

Agenda

• To be distributed by the SPL by Wednesday evening, along with reminders.
• Joint effort by SPL and SM/ASM to develop agenda
• Agenda includes
  • Opening
  • Instruction - specific skill (vs. specific requirement)
  • Patrol breakout - review knowledge and practice skill
  • Fun activity
  • Closing

Attire

• Full Class A (shirt, pants, Neckerchief, belt and socks), unless notified otherwise
• Scout shirt to be adorned with updated and correct patches
• Class A should generally be kept clean
  • Includes Scout Handbook
  • Should be accompanied by notebook to take notes and pen/pencil

No Electronic Devices

• Agenda should be printed and transcribed on paper
• Any documentation should be printed

Closing

• 5 minutes before closing ceremony, scouts to put away equipment, clean and tidy up other than flags
• Scout leaders to make closing remarks, that include enthusiastic review of upcoming events
• Scout leaders to check with adult leaders regarding other reminders and remarks
• SPL to execute closing ceremony to end precisely at 8:30 PM

Departure

• QM to put away flags after closing
• PLs to dismiss their respective patrol
• PLC & Adult leader meeting - 5 mins to review accomplishment and recommendations to inform next agenda

PLC Meetings

• At least once per month minimum
• Initially booked at the beginning for the year for all 10
• Minutes to be taken by scribe
• Requires attendees - SPL, ASPL, PLs, QMs, Scribe
• Open to all those interested
