Meals
Meal Plan
A Designated Grubmaster is in charge for meals for the entire camping trip
If satisfying First Class cooking or Camping MB requirements, that scout is the Grubmaster
Otherwise, often the Patrol Leader
Meal plan must be submitted and approved by the patrol and adult leader before the Regular Meeting just before the camping trip
Meal plan to clearly detail the name of the patrol, who will be attending, the Grubmaster, the cook for each meal, recipes, list of ingredients and equipment
If to satisfy the Camping MB requirements, it is recommended that the worksheet be submitted for preapproval from the Cooking MB counselor.
Ingredients must conform to dietary restrictions (not necessarily preferences) of the patrol members who will attend the trip. These restrictions are listed on the meal plan.
Ensure that the necessary equipment or utensils by working through the patrol’s QM or source from home.
