Thanksgiving Camping Trip

When and Where

When: November 12-14, 2021, 8:00 pm — 11:00 am
Nights: 2

Location: Alpine Scout Camp

The trip will take place at Alpine Scout Camp from November 12 to November 14.

What to Bring

It will be a normal weekend camping trip, so pack accordingly like the ten essentials.

Plan

Friday Night

Set up camp and crash for the night

Saturday

7:00 am -Wake up
7:30 am -Start cooking Breakfast
8:00 am -Have Breakfast
9:00 am -Hike (Pack lunch/snacks for along the trail)
11:30am-12:00pm-Have lunch

When we get back: Rest for like 10-20 minutes

2:00 pm -Do requirements that can be done with the resources outdoors
3:30 pm -Free time (Do an activity to have ALL scouts included)
4:30 pm -Start getting ready to cook dinner*

*While people are cooking, Scouts gather wood for a campfire

5:30 pm -Have dinner
7:00 pm -Campfire

When the campfire is done: Nighttime activities

11:30pm or 12:00am-Curfew

Sunday Morning:

7:00 am -Wake up
7:30 am -Either have breakfast or pack to leave
Be packed by: 8:30 am
9:00 am -Departure time

Opportunities

This Trip is an amazing opportunity to get a lot of requirements tested and signed off, especially since the troop won't be going on another trip for more than a month.
