When and Where

When: March 23, 2025
Timeline: 12:45 pm — 2:00 pm

Location: 3rd Avenue and Marine Avenues, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

This Sunday starting from 3rd Avenue and Marine Avenues at 1:00 pm will be the 30th Bay Ridge St Patrick's Day Parade (Line up begins at 12:30 pm, we are gathering at 12:45 pm).

Formation is on Marine Avenue at 4th Avenue and will travel down 3rd Avenue ending at Senator Street.

Although this isn't as big of a Parade as the one that happens on March 17th in Manhattan, our parade, located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, is still an amazing event and is loads of fun to witness and even more fun to take part in.

History of the Manhattan Parade

The New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade is an annual event organized by the Irish Community of New York City to honor Saint Patrick and celebrate Irish culture.

It was first documented on March 17th, 1762, and has been occurring annually every year after that. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, small groups of people have marched the route to preserve the parade's 258-year record of marching.

Our Participation

Our Scout Troop, continuing its tradition, will be marching in the parade alongside Pack 23. Participating in this event is a great way to support our local community and spread the word about our Troop and Pack. It’s also a wonderful recruiting opportunity, as we’ll be strategically passing out flyers.

Attire:
Scouts and Scouters: Class A
