Palisades Hike

When and Where

When: May 29, 2022
Timeline: 7:30 am — 7:30 pm

 The trip will take place at Alpine Scout Camp on May 29th. We meet at OLA at 7:30 am to pack the cars.

What to bring

• - ⧠ Backpack as always
• - ⧠ Class B
• - ⧠ Comfortable shoes (you do not need to wear boots)
• - ⧠ Hydration - Refillable water bottle Lunch
• - ⧠ no cooking on this trip, so pack and lunch
• - ⧠ Writing instrument
• - ⧠ Executed Troop permission from ScoutBook

Activities

We will be hiking about 8 miles as well as doing service.

The will be an opportunity to get some requirements done, for example using a map and compass to navigate.

Doing the hike will also count as part of the Palisades historic trails award.
