For the winter month of January 2025, we're going campout at the Intrepid Museum, the legendary aircraft carrier. Intrepidan awe-inspiring place for an unforgettable adventure.

Last year, we visited the battleship USS New Jersey, a massive and iconic piece of naval history, even larger than the USS Slater we toured the year before. This time, however, we’ll be on board the USS Intrepid, an aircraft carrier and the biggest ship we’ve explored yet — so it’s bound to be another memorable experience.

The night includes a guided tour, a cot, unlimited use of the 4D simulator, a multitude of different hands-on activities, films, snacks, dinner, breakfast, an Intrepid water bottle and patch for the kids and a return pass for everyone good for 60 days for a day visit!

Arrival Time: At the Museum no later than 6 PM, Saturday
Departure Time: 8 AM, Sunday
Fee for the Museum:  $99
TBD: Traveling together either via subway or cars

A $30.00 non-refundable deposit and commitment is due Monday November 4th.

Hike on Sunday

The urban hike from the Intrepid Museum to Bay Ridge is 11 miles
Other than then bridge, the trail is flat
Hiking MB requires 4x ten-mile hikes
Will try to arrange for our baggage to be transported to OLA
