Climbing Trip

Location: Alpine Scout Camp / Cub World 11

What to Bring

It is a normal weekend camping trip so pack accordingly.

The trip is an amazing opportunity to earn the climbing merit badge so look forward to that.

There is a Fee of 45$ for people who are doing the badge and if you have it the fee is 20$ less.

Don't forget to bring a costume!

Plan

Friday: Meet at OLA for pack inspection and final packing. Drive to the camp. The campsite is Cub World 11.
Saturday: For most of the day, we will be at the Activity Center and climbing the wall. Late afternoon and evening will be dedicated to activities that youth leaders will plan for.
Sunday: Breakfast and efficient departure.

Opportunities

You will be granted a rare chance to start and complete the climbing merit badge, along with cooking and camping requirements for merit badges and rank requirements.

Note that is recommended to read the merit badge pamphlet before doing the badge to familiarize yourself with the topic.
