Benjamin Franklin Historical Trail Hike

The trip will take place at Historic Philadelphia on January 15th, 8 am-10 pm

What to bring

We will try to complete the Benjamin Franklin Historical Trail, It will be extremely cold, so pack many layers!

• - ⧠ Class B
• - ⧠ Print the Benjamin Franklin Historic Trail Package
• - ⧠ Comfortable shoes (you do not need to wear boots)
• - ⧠ Hydration - Refillable water bottle Lunch
• - ⧠ no cooking this trip, so pack breakfast and lunch, no need to pack dinner
• - ⧠ Writing instrument to complete the package.  (Always smart to bring a notebook to jot down notes of observations)
• - ⧠ Executed Troop permission from ScoutBook

Activities and opportunities

We will be doing the Benjamin Franklin Historical Trail, Each scout who is going will receive a certain amount of locations on the trail that they have to research and talk about on the trail.

The will be an opportunity to get a lot of requirements signed off and to get the Historic Trails Award.

Historic Trail Award (applicable to NOA), in addition to above
- Camp two days and one night along the trail.  For those who are coming only for the hike, you can satisfy this requirement at another time to earn the award.
- Cooperate with the organizers to complete a service project.  The organizers would greatly appreciate our help in clearing and cleaning the trail along the hike.
