Eagle Projects

Our scouts have been working on their Eagle Projects. Here are recent projects: 

June 10th, 2023 - OLA Church - 73rd Street - Repainting The fence along 73rd Street

Dec 18, 2022 - OLA Church - In the Gymnasium - the project was a blood drive and a veterans panel. At 7 am, Scouts helped set up posters around OLA advertising the blood drive. A little bit later, a van arrived which brought all the equipment and food, which was set up in the gym. At 11:30 the veterans panel began, and 3 veterans were asked very insightful questions that the scouts created and the answers the veterans gave were interesting.

Oct 27, 2021, & Nov 28, 2021 - OLA Church - Outside of Parking Lot on 73rd & Narrows Botanical Gardens - The first part on Oct 27th consisted of a book drive and spreading the word of the library. The second part on Nov 28th consisted of installing the lending library at the Narrows Botanical Gardens and sweeping the whole place of leaves.

Oct 31, 2021 - OLA Church - Courtyard and 74th Street: Repainting The fence in the OLA church courtyard.

June 23rd, 2021 - Our Lady of Angel's food pantry: Spreading awareness and reducing hesitancy of the covid vaccine, its benefits, how to get it, as well as answering any other questions that people might have about the vaccine.

Jan 30, 2021 & Feb 20, 2021 - Narrows Botanical Garden: building 5 various bird houses to bring native birds back to the garden. Installation of bird houses.

Nov 14, 2020 - Our Lady of Angels: repainting of the fence along 4th Avenue.

Nov 7, 2020 - PS4 Paradise Garden: restoration of field, stage, gutter installation, and leveling of pavers.

Jun 8, 2019 - Heaven's Embrace: dedicated to Scout Alan Paul Steffen. Trail connection from the retreat center to state park.
